Abuela Maria Lidia Payaguaje is an experienced Colombian midwife and healer who works with different Amazonian medicinal plants.

Together with her husband Taita Victoriano Piaguaje Yaiguaje, she works to protect and preserve sacred indigenous traditions and ancestral values of the Siona tribe and other indigenous communities in Colombia.
